Hi all,
Back in the U.S.A. after having been away for a few months. Had Christmas overseas with my and his family. I had forgotten how special Christmas is with a 7y.o. and a 2y.o. Don't their eyes light up? Whats been happening here? Obviously not much rain. The ranch is still holding it's own, but just barely. Are there any plans fpr get togethers soon. Someone out there let me know. Have a great day.Treb

Hi folks,
Well still working on the ranch. Getting a little done at a time. Finally caught up with one of the girls from the dance hall and we made it to the hot tub at the ranch.WOOOWWW. What have I been thinkin' tellin her later. From now on, its NOW. After we played, she called some friends and we had a HUUUGE B.B.Q. and fall down. I am certain that Yorktown had to order more beer and wine. I am going to try to get to that Wed. thing in CC and maybe we can organise a party at the ranch for a big group. It is very peaceful and quiet. Enough people can make it loud though.
Anyway, hope to see everyone when I make it to town. Have a great weekend. Treb.

Hang ups

Hi folks,
Wow, in reading Nina's and Luther's comments on hang ups, it struck me that this must really be a problem in CC. I suppose that since I am rarely in one place for any great length of time I must miss whats going on. I read Nina's post this morning and note that she is in an unfortunate mood due to something someone else has said. I have learned that you can not change a persons attitude. You can only show them another road to travel. Whether they choose to do so is up to them. If you know that what you do is in good faith and without malice, then any problem that arises is due to another persons attitude. I guess that being older has the advantage of experience. One learns to not get upset at other peoples misunderstanding or jealousies. You just let it go and sooner or later they will figure out what idiots they have been. Unfortunately it is usually much later in life when there is little or no time to make amends for bad behavior or comments.
Just be at peace with yourself and take responsibility for your actions. Try to understand each other persons perspective and beliefs. I have learned that race and colour and to a large extent religious beliefs do not usually mar or hinder the intrinsic good that is in most people. When we make comments or remarks, it is usually because of lack of understanding or knowledge. That is something each of us can remedy with a little tolerance and education.
Well, enough of my light on the aspects of life. Hope each of you have a wonderful day. Regards, Treb

Hi all,
New York was fantastic. Saw the Yankees play at their stadium. They won and it was a great game. Went to see "Fiddler On The Roof" Wonderful music and talent. Went to Little Italy and arrived on the day of the San Gennaro Festival. God the italians know how to put on a party. Met some wonderful people and ended up hooking up with a couple for adult fun and games. Had a great week. Then came home in time for the silly hurricane season. Everyone was in a panic when I got back to town and most people I know left. I stayed and couldn't find any one to play with. So, went up to the ranch and found Cindy for the hot tub games. Neat way to avoid a hurricane.
Well, will try to get to Paradise tomorrow night. To each and all, I hope you all made it home safely. Have a wonderful day, Treb.

Hi All,
Ysterday was work day. Went to my ranch and started doing some fencing work. Great idea on a day when its about 100 with 90% humidity. Finished doing what I needed to do in about 5 hours, and went to the local dance hall/diner for a burger. One of the local gals seemed like she wanted to come play for the afternoon in the hot tub, and I was just too tired to care. She was cool with that and said we'd have a play day when I get back from New York. Hate to waste one though.
Got home and found that one of Moms family friends had passed away, so now get to go to a Memorial Service today. Mom is 86, so I'll take her and stay for the reception to bring her home. If I know Mom, and I do, she will at least need to be driven home. I'm sure she thinks John Barleycorn is a saint of some kind. Well, will write again later. Hope all have a wonderful day. Treb

Hi,
Had to go to a meeting in Dallas, then drove to San Antonio for the Merle Haggard Concert at Cowboys Night Club. It was a great night. Merle is getting on in years, and I thought I had better see him once before he gets to old to tour any longer. The venue is superb. Huge dance floor, excellent service at all bar points, a rodeo in an adjoining arena and plenty of happy people. All in all, a good experience.
Going to New york on Friday for 4 days to see the Yankees play at Yankee stadium. I love baseball and have never had the chance to go there, so I'm off. Going to ground zero and pay my respects to all involved there. Then going to one of Mario Battaglia restaurants for late supper. Will try to catch a show or two, the back to the Coastal bend.
Still trying to make it to Paradise. Hope all have happy times. Treb

Went to a private party last night and met some real wonderful people. Unfortunately, there were two males who were anything but wonderful. They had obviously been drinking and their behavior was dreadful. Things started pretty smoothly and different people were coupling up to go and play. One of the drunks had found someone who wanted to play, but his friend had not. He decided that this lady would be happy with both of them. When she said no (obviously a difficult word to understand in their state of intoxication) the one to whom she said no decided that he was going to get some anyway. Well after some serious conversation, they decided to leave. The party tried to get back to it's original state, but there just didn't seem to be any joy any more. There was plenty of sex, but something was missing. It's a pity when one person can ruin what could have been a wonderful night. Luckily, the hostess asked me to return when they have their next fun night. I'm looking forward to it, but with hopefully, considerably less drama. Have a good one, Treb

What a fun time yesterday turned out to be. Met some wonderful people in town and had a great dinner with them. Just goes to show that things can change in a hurry. They are just visiting the coastal bend and have had a great time while here. Thanks to all in CC for showing visitors how welcome we Texans can make them feel.
Hope Cowboy and Nina get their problems resolved. Stress can be soooo ugly. Maybe Cowboy will read this and tell us about the party to which Nina was referring.
Anyway, going out to find a playmate for the weekend. Have a good one.
