......Good Evening Sinners,......Tonight I've got an "Artist Post" This Cats name is Sebastian Kruger, he's a German born Portrait Artist who resides in California. I've always been a Huge Fan of Portaiture and the many Styles, and have even taken a shot at it myself a time or two with the Old Airbrushes, And like Me this Cat is Really into the Rolling Stones, And Hollywood, So I very much dig his Style.
.............Mr. Kruger's primary medium is acrylic paint, and his paintings are very Hyper-Realistic in detail, yet also extremely grotesque in there distortion. He is well known for his life like depictions of the Rolling Stones, inparticular Keith Richards.

............Great Satan's Pitchfork I thought, as I pushed the truck to 90, North bound on the Garden State Parkway, I had just purchased the Virgin White Pick-Up truck from a Sleazy Auto on Highway 9. It Ran Strong and it Ran Smooth, I Topped it Off an even 0 m.p.h and the Handling was Solid, even through the Construction Zone,....Motörhead Blasted from the Sterio, and I Gripped Down on the steering wheel and Tapped the ......Getting Off Exit 0A and heading Eastbound, towards the Ocean, and Asbury Park........
............The Joint I was going to is Known as "The Stone Pony" it's a Small Rock & Roll bar that I have been frequenting for Twenty Odd years Worth of Some of the Best Rock & Roll Acts In the Music Industry. Tonight's Main Event was none other than Social Distortion. If you're not Familiar with Social D. then the Best Description I could Give You (in my humble opinion of course) For their Sound would be to Say that Social Distortion "Took Over" where The Clash left off,......Big Shoes to Fill Indeed, Which they've More than Done,......Carrying the Punk Rock Torch Long before Rancid or (chuckle) Green came Along and Tried to Take It..........
............Arriving in the Parking Lot around 7ish, I packed up a Bowl of Hash, Rolled up the Tinted windows, and Blasted the A/C, I began to "Re Enact" the Last Scene in "Up in Smoke" In the Privacy of a New Car on an Evening by the Sea, Some Special Music, And a little Fine Smoke, in Front of a Beautifully Sunset that Overlooked the Ocean......The Concert was Set Up in "The Lot" outside the Bar Proper. The Lot was just That,.....A Big Concrete Yard enclosed by a Foot chain link fence, A Large Stage was Set Up the West end of the Lot, in front of where the Sun was Setting.......
............After ridding myself of all Weapons, Contraband, Explosives, Chemicals, Razors, Knives, Metal Objects, Or Bottles of Liquid, I made my way into the Venue as the Last Opening Act, Water Music, played their last 5 or 6 songs. They played Well and they Sounded Good, and even as the place was only Half Full at the Time, they got a Good Response....I was Feeling Mighty Fine standing there in the Light of the Late Afternoon, the Fading Sun still Strong on my , the breeze was salty with the Ocean........
............The Stone Pony's Surrounding Neighborhood is largly a Ghetto of Low-Rent Appartment Buildings and Long Abandoned Decomposing Hotels from that Era during the 1950s' when Asbury Park was Still a Tourist Town.....These Were Dotted with People, on Old Decrepit Concrete Balconies and Rusting Fire Escapes and in Broken Front Windows,....And Why Not?......It's a Free Freak Show for the Down Trodden Residents of a Shore Town that Time Keeps Trying to Forget.....That's the Asbury Park that I have Always Known,.....It's been a Bad Area for as Long as I can Remember,..(so Probably since about Last Tuesday, Ho Ho!).....But like Most Bad Neighborhoods, it's Always been a Good One for Me.
............But to Be Perfectly Honest,....When a Couple Hundred Outsiders Come to Your Neighborhood to get Loaded and Listen to Loud Fast Punk Rock Music Outside in the Middle of a Summer Heat Wave,.....The Real Criminals and Perverts have Enough Targets to choose from without having to Fuck Around with a Bare Chested, Heavily Tattooed, Chemically Altered, Foot Five Inch, 225lb, Combat Booted, Mohawked, Hooligan who's Wandering Around Alone, And Talking to Himself, Like He hasn't Got a Care in the World,.....Because You Never Know Now, Do You,.....He May Not,.....And Life's Hard Enough Already, With a Shit Storm like That,.....Regardless,....Alright,....Enough Bullshit,.....And Enough of this Digressing,.......
............Social Distortion came on around 8:30, Like a Sonic Train Wreck, and Ripped the Ass of the Place,....Completely Awesome,....Completely Cool, and Completely Crazy,......They got the Joint Rocking with Old Staples like "Bad Luck," "Story of My Life," and "Ball and Chain" before Throwing in Some Newer Stuff, like "Reach for the ," " Machine Gun Blues," and "Live Before You Die" there was also the Occasional Classic Cuts like "1945" and "Mommy's Little Monster" Mixed in with a Few Cover Songs "Ring of Fire," " My Thumb," and "I Fought the Law".......As Always, Mike Ness and his Seemingly Endless band member changes (in the 1990's it seemed like Social D. was having the same problem with Drummers that Spinal Tap had.) Pulled Off a Musically Flawless Evening, Playing like Their Asses were On Fire and their Heads were Catching,.....33 Years into a " Mans Game" and Social Distortion isn't Like a Fine Wine that Tastes Great,.....They're Like an Old Bottle of Apricot Moonshine,......They just Blow Your Doors Off......And for the $30 Price, a Good Evening was had by Most.....And I had a Great One So It was Worth Every Penny,....But Most of the Shows at Venues like "The Stone Pony" Still Are......You can Thank Lucifers' Halo for That,.....Maybe Some Thing's Don't Change,......Like Rock & Roll,......Which Refuses to Die......I don't Know about You, My Pervertedly Degenerate Friends,.......But That's a Comforting Thought, Which are Becoming Fewer and Farther Between As of Late........
............Next Up on The Sinners Club Concert Calender is Buddy Guy at "The Count Basie Theater" and then The Black Crowes at "The PNC Bank Arts Center" in August,.....So When Those Gigs Go Down,.....Make Sure to Come Around,.....I'll be Right Here, Where you Left Me,......Later Days My Friends,.....Don't Do Anything I Wouldn't,.....But if You Do and You Get Caught,....Always Remember,.....Don't Let 'Em Rattle Your Cage, Keep Your Mouth Shut, and Don't Give 'Em Shit,.....They're Already Full of It.

......I've been Meaning to do this Post for a While Now,.....Hey, What goes as Planned?!?!......Regardless, Here we are again,.....I Just Partook of a little Hash,.....The Velvet Underground's giving Me White Light/ White Heat its going and Messing up My Brain,....,and it's tickling Me down to my Toes,.....Shit!.... Digressing Again,....Ok,.....FOCUS!.....Wow is this Shit Strong!!!!...Alrighty Then!.....The Subject this Evening is an Exceptional Horror Film I saw about a year ago,.....It's a Good Enough of a Fright Fest that going to Quilify it for the Next Entry of, THE BEST OF THE BEAST!

THE DEVIL'S ROCK

........June 5th, 1944, on the eve of D-, Allied Commandos Capt. Ben Grogan, and Sergeant Joseph Tane receive orders to destroy key gun emplacements behind the lines of enemy occupied territory near the Channel Islands. Diverted off course by strong currents, they land near the entrance of an ominous bunker. Hearing unearthly screams echoing from within, Grogan decides to investigate. There, amid a scene of unworldly carnage he discovers a secret occult lair, where only a mysterious Nazi Officer and a beautiful but demonic captive remain alive.

......"I Loved this Film, First Off.....it's a Low Budget Independent Film,... but its Hard to tell because of the way it's Shot, which is to say Cleverly. This Film was actually billed as "Saw with Swastikas" by Shock Till You Drop, however in my Evil Opinion it Should have been billed more like "Satan's Resevoir ".....Containing a Cast of Only 4 Actors,(who All act thier Asses Off!)....It Works in the Story's Favor,...Giving it a more "You're All Alone" Feeling. The Large Dark shape of the Bunker with the Piercingly Female Sceams Echoing from Inside have a Terrifiyingly Simple Effect that Evokes Ominous Thoughts in Your Mind from the Films Very Start. Once inside, the Cloisterphobic Feel of the Bunkers Poorly Lit Interior Tunnel System. along with the Wet, Subterranean Aspect of the Movies Setting. All add to the Obvious Feeling that Something is Very Wrong Here,......We soon discover a Nazi Doctor of the Occult has Succeded in Summoning a Demon, That has managed to Partially Devoir Every Soldier Except Himself, before being brought a Shakey Sort of Control,.....But it's Hunger and Strengh is Growing,.....Rapidly,.....And the Bodies are Running ."
........."That's about as Much of the Plot as you're going to get out of ,.....If You Enjoy a Good Horror Movie, then give this One a Peek,......I Would Venture to Say, that it's The Best Horror Movie (or at least, the Smartest) of the Last Five Years, The Story's Good, The Effects and Sets are Excelent, and there are Even a Couple of Clever Plot Twists and a Surprize Ending that makes This One Worth the Time. Shot in a Warehouse in a Two Room Set,....With the Tunnel Footage Shot in Actual W.W.II Bunkers. The Entire Film a Few Million Dollars and is Far, Far Superior to Every $0 Million Main Stream Franchise Pile of Shit Slasher/Horror/Paranormal Activity Movie You'll See the Multi-Plex,.......Definetly Don't Let this one Pass You By"
