This seems to happen to me every year during the month of May. I take a break from the internet. The weather starts to get nicer and I find myself spending more time outdoors.
In many ways I miss doing blogs and miss many of my readers. So here I am thinking of you all...
It's Monday and a very rainy day.
What's going through my head is the song by the Carpenters. "Rainy Days and Mondays".
The weather for today is keeping the boardwalk pretty empty . I'm not about to venture out onto the beach today. Photos were taken from my home except for the one of the boardwalk. Just to wet out there. Good to be back inside.

I was always (still am) into networking with industry pros from the past.
For many years I was doing video production and duplication/replication in the Northern VA / DC area.
Would love to network with those that were or still are in that field.
also I used to blog daily about beach living. Thinking I need to get back into that. This is a start...

Been awhile since I wrote anything anywhere on the internet.
I love writing in the sand after a morning rain. The letters really stand out.
Nothing to do this morning, - just hanging and spreading some love and peace around.
This happens to me every year at this time. Seems I spend less time on the web and more time outside pretending I'm sight seeing where I live.

I was spending some time on the beach and the weather changed just like this...
What seemed to be a nice morning with little wind and a blue sky to start. All that changed.
The sky turned dark, waves are getting rougher and the wind is blowing.
Haven't done a blog in awhile. Nothing really new.
Guess I'm in for the day - Not sure what to do.
Just search the web...
So ready to spend some time on the beach - Like everyday!

Hopefully the winter type of weather is behind us.
From this point on I'll be spending most days on the beach.
I have about a month before all the snowbirds come back from Florida.
and or the locals that live in the surrounding states that have beach homes here.
...They'll be back too.
Now I'll just make the best of it - , relax, and again...

Most days I'll write a little something up about living at the beach. Sharing photos of the beach and ocean.
This afternoon around 3 pm I was out on the beach.
Noticing hundreds of Seagulls.
I've lived here in Atlantic City right off the beach for about 7 now.
Never have I seen anything like this.
I'll do my normal everyday Blog "Living At The Beach" later this evening.
This has been a special report...

Without getting into detail and mentioning any other names, I'm also on a couple of other music related networking internet sites.
As musicians we all agree that music performing photos look better in Black & White.
So here I am once again looking at the photos on my laptop and changing the "Kodachrome" ...good song Thank you Paul Simon
My music photos go back around nine years ago.
Since I'm on the Black & White subject...
I miss the days of just reading a real Newspaper. Yep ...when I was done reading I had to wash my hands because of the Ink!
You remember what I'm talking about.
Seems these days I read the paper online either on my ipad, laptop or through my phone.
Even reading books seems I use my Kindle.
This summer when reading on the beach I'm going to go back to real books...
Thinking I'll also share this on my 04j.com Blogs.

Here we are back on the Atlantic City Beach. Somewhat of a nice day. Thinking I'll walk along the water up to Tropicana.
No not the orange juice company, but the Casino.
Shoes are off. It's a start to beach weather.

Haven't really been on my beach for about 5 days.
Just went on for a bit now.
ALL I can say is WOW.
The City of AC started early on cleaning up the beach
The sand is and feels wonderful.
I now have about one month to really enjoy it before the folks came back for the Summer 2018 Season.
I'm ready - Bring on the warm sunny weather.

This weekend should be nice.
Getting my road bike ready for a long ride.
Even though it's Spring, that Winter weather just didn't give up.
Haven't gone for a ride since last Fall...

A Nude Beach in Jersey

Okay - there's a place called Gunnison Beach at Sandy Hook in New Jersey. It's the only legal beach that's allows nude bathing in the Garden State.
Over all the years I've never had any interest in going. Something clicked inside my head over the weekend and now I want to at least try it out.
I would love to have a total full body tan. This is all so new to me.
Wish there was a place closer to me here in Atlantic City.
AC would be such a great place to have nude bathing.
I guess a little under a couple of hour drive isn't so bad .
Hopefully someone who reads this has gone to Gunnison, or if you know a place closer to AC?
Please share any feedback...

April 8th 2018 it's just way to cold for this time of the year. Feels like mid-Winter. Now getting a very cold wind off the ocean.
So I'm hanging out at home just going though old photos on my laptop.
Which brings me to the year of 2009.
At that time I was living in Northern Virginia right outside of DC.
Very much involved in Multimedia and Broadcast Video Production.
Heck I was nine years younger. Where did those years go?
Being on the GSA I was able to bid on many Fed Govt. accounts.
also doing work for many top corporate .
Was very much connected all major Ad Agencies and PR Firms.
I'm linking this to the Video/Photography Forum.
I love to network with those still in the biz.
Over the years I used all of the broadcast video formats
1", Umatic, Beta SP, Digi Beta, D2, mini DV, DV Cam, DVC Pro
Besides NTSC, also did Pal and Secam
CD and DVD Duplication and Replication
Printing and Fulfillment
Now I just live at the Jersey Shore...

Found out a couple of my friends are working on the new Hard Rock Hotel and Casino being built here in Atlantic City. They're not from here and live just outside of Baltimore, Md
A couple of days ago, I heard where they were staying and took a chance and knocked on their door. Glad they opened it and someone I didn't know.
Just now getting home and I thought I'd write about it.
Hard Rock will be open this Summer. Should be lot's of fun, and very good for Atlantic City.
