Gas money vs. ass money. Do you really want to meet someone who can't pay for gas? I imagine it would depend on the circumstances. Hard up, maybe, but not prostitution.

Not prostitution, but I personally would be humiliated to accept the money. HELL,, I was embarrassed when my GF paid for burgers once.

Too few facts to give a reasonable opinion. Yes $200 is too much for gas - assuming it is a fairly local distance. There is no indication, or act, that is specifically sexual. When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

If someone wants to meet for a hookup, but you don't have gas to get to them (assuming they're hosting), and they offer you gas... is prostitution? If offered, and accepted, - here, I'll give you gas for you to come here for a hookup. -Yes, that is prostitution. [But] How are they going to get the gas , when they don't have the gas to get over there to accept the offer? Anyway, if the loser doesn't have the gas to get from "Their place to the other place"...... then the person shouldn't be looking for a hookup, the person should be looking for work. Prostitution is also the, "Date" , where [usually the male] pays for food and/ drink for the woman. Yes, the woman may refuse to have sex, but the intent was to get her to have sex with him, that day or some other day. In business [Companies, such as aerospace] , a vendor or customer giving gifts or favors to a representative of that Company is ethically against company policy, because , if the gift/favor is accepted, now the vendor has leverage on the company. ...........So this concept then would also apply to the "Date".... or the receiver of the gas. ......"I gave you dinner/drink/gas..now [essentially] you owe me".

Always skeptical of some one asking for money up front for anything! Have done that a couple of times, they always wanted more! Guy walks into a bar, sits down next to a woman Asks, Would u sleep with me for a $1000 dollars? She says, YES! How about $500? Hmmm, Yes, she says! How about a 100? HEY!, she says, What kind if lady do u think I am???? We've established that, where haggling price now........lol!
