Practical communication tips

Ok, here's the deal folks. If you are a Standard, non paying member here on Passion. As a standard member, you can no longer initiate conversations in the Instant Messenger. Standards used to have the ability to send 10 ice breaker messages in a 24 hour span. It was later reduced to 5, then 3, and now 0. So, that means, if you see someone in there that peaks your interest, you will have to actually be the one to say hello first. Standard members can reply to you, and you can chat all day. But you have break that ice!
Now.....onto the emails on here. Standard members can only see that someone has sent them an email. That is all. They cannot read the email or reply to it. Once in a blue moon, (and we all know how rare those are), they can read and reply to someones email. I have yet to discover why this is! Long story short.....do not waste your time sending an email to a Standard Member.

All this is really really important to the female members. Because, for some reason, on a good day, females do not initiate conversations. Guess it is just the way women are wired. Remember ladies....this is the internet, not face to face (in person) socializing.....its okay to be the first one to break the ice.

 I think that you can respond to emails if member sending has the upgraded "Gold" package. I encourage people to post comments on blog.

 This site is doing a good job of shooting itself in the foot the way they are treating standards.
