You don't have to post a phone number etc for people to figure out who you are. You have relayed so much information on here that I have found you off site . I mentioned before you should be more cautious. So not posting a phone number etc is only small part of maintaining some privacy. It's not crazy just naive perhaps.

Maybe I'm Newbie naive, or maybe because of male privilege I have given my "dating" email address to those whom I chat with on occasion ... especially if we are discussing connecting in real life. So far only one person has reached the stage where we communicate by text through my cell number. I figure I can always change my cell phone number if I were to meet a stalker. I tried those Hockey Skates once. Never could stand up on them. Just the Idea of being around frozen water gives me chills. I bet a zambony machine ain't as hot as you. We all have a Trail to blaze. Happy Trails

That's a very good question —of which I guess I don't have a pat answer to. I will give out my kik or my hangouts address because if they start out looking for handouts, I just block them. Easy peazy. NEVER give out my phone number unless we've somehow verified each other and are going to meet. There again, fairly easy to block because me phone service has a spam filter. Email? Just depends I guess. All this to say that a standard user really can't chat well on here. If you're a top fan then you can until someone comes along and outbids you. So IMHO, standard members are more likely to give out some other contact info quicker than if they were unlimited Gold. Speaking of gold, BUY NOW! Inflation is killing out currency.

Oh no i not that silly,bit ditzy but have a few morals left and half a brain not to give it out straight away,learnt my lessons the hard way,potential lovers have to be exceptionally keen and keep in contact via here for a while even before i even consider it

Hello Is it me you're looking for? I can see it in your eyes I can see it in your smile You're all I've ever wanted And my arms are open wide ... I love Carly Rae Jepsen's song. Thank you for reminding me of it. I use to be very protective of my cell phone number -- I had it for 10 years then had to change it when I changed providers (thankfully one doesn't have to do that anymore). And recently I had to change it to take advantage of a promotional package. That caused me to care less about my number since it has changed many times recently and if I need to I can change it again. However, that being said, I still don't give it out until I'm ready to meet someone in person, or have chatted on-line for a while to "get to know the person" After all changing my phone number is a pain in the ass for my contacts/friends as they have to update their contacts. These days I notice that most people don't update their contacts my deleting old numbers ... which creates confusion when they don't have my current contact information.
