I generally only block spammer "women" that send unsolicited emails and IMs. I have yet to encounter real psychopath women here, but I am sure they are out there.

Never really blocked anyone, although there are a few that I would like to see removed from the site altogether, but blocking, meh! It's just childish, if you can't take the heat get out of the kitchen.

Never blocked anyone, I have posted in the advice line, and got answers from a couple people I shld have blocked, but I prefer to trigger them, and see them have a meltdown. Feel free to message my private mailbox

I find blocking to be rude. I get blocked by plenty of idiotic and childish adults around here, but I never block anyone. That feature is so over-abused that it's the default go-to feature, which isn't what being an adult is about. I feel that a block feature should only be used in the most extreme circumstances, such as when people make threats find you, r*ape you and things like that (yes, I've had those sort of comments in the past). What I also feel is that this site's very name suggests ADULTS. Adults should be able to communicate openly, talk out problems that we're faced and learn to live with one another in this gigantic community to make it a nice place to be. Blocking someone is merely putting a band aid on a problem that solves nothing at all and simply promotes more ignorance in society. I personally think they should get rid of this blocking feature, since it only does more harm than good in the big picture of what this site is supposed to be for. After all, we have customer service and the ability to report incidents, if need be. Seriously, talk out problems. Blocking each other is only creating massive social divide to the point where nobody even talks to each other anymore and where nobody has any level of tolerance the second someone has a disagreement or a mismatch in something. It's ignorant and immature.
