Is it just me? It cant be...

So yes I have been on this site for a long time, and in that time my wants and desires have changed. But through out all of my wants and desires, the people that say they want to meet up for fun, rarely follow through with me. And then of course there is the permission thing from hubby, that has made things a bit rough.

So my question is..

Is it just me or do people really not want to hook up with me.. I get that I am not every mans perfect woman. But why take the time to get to know me, ask me questions, give me info about you that entwines me in your life. From something as small as your day at work and being able to relax, up to emotional connection over if they are well or not.

I get that distance is an issue for 99% of us, and that is not even my irritation. But if you are gonna tell me you will be here for a week in the month of Oct. and not show, call, text, or say fuck you bitch your too fat. Or to message and say hey I am in town visiting family and then nothing.

When that happens to me I wonder if you are ok. If something happened in your life that you just shut down and don't want to talk to anyone. Or worst case something happened to you.

I would rather you tell me you don't like me you were never interested and did not want to meet in the first place or something.

 I think in a lot of cases guys just want to talk to someone
they already know is willing.They've obviously passed the
biggest test(looks) that boosts their ego into thinking that
hey maybe I'm not as bad as I think I am.This tryst
isn't going to go any further than a boink so why risk the
chance that I may see something in this person that
I can't have.She only wants me for one thing anyway.

Keep in mind that takes some a month or so to culminate
in their heads.In that time their still getting the ol' no response is a response
from all those they're messaging that they too
suddenly don't feel obligated to cancel either.
Not to mention selfish,disingenuous and actually
resemble exactly what they have in their pants.
Using more than all the road!

 They're scared. They talk to you online, write responses, fantasize...but when it comes to reality, they're too intimidated to follow up.

 I think, for a lot of people, they want to meet up and have a hedonistic lifestyle, but they're conflicted by their morality and/or fear of consequences.

 Distance is probably the main reason, but if men say something and then don't follow through, it's probably because they do want you but are intimidated. It's a fantasy, but when it becomes a possible reality, they get scared and back out. Maybe.

I can agree with that assessment, I do try to be approachable, and I hope if I seem intimidating someone would tell me. I dont want that at all!
