Beyond Bored
Beyond Bored I'm totally beyond bored at this point. My man is watching a movie that I do not wish to see, at all. There is absolutely no food in the house even though our cupboards are full. I know it doesn't make sense but anyone who's ever counted carbs can relate. I'm not hungry anyway, which is about the only good thing about this plan. I'm no where near as hungry and the weight is dropping with no effort. I have to watch out for those pesky munchie attacks though! I hooked up with XXX recently. Remember her? I was going to get together back in January with her & I was so nervous! She came to visit and we ended up playing. It was fine but I'm pretty sure it's not going to happen again. It's nothing against her, she's cool. It just wasn't who I truly wanted to be with. Maybe that beautiful, naughty blonde spoiled me or something! It seems like she is the only woman I care to be with. And I can't. That bites. We are expecting a friend from Maryland to come for the weekend, I can't wait! He is my man's best friend and used to be the drummer for Savage Jack before carpal tunnell put and end to that. It will be awesome having him here!!! The band has two big gigs this weekend and it's WAY cool that he will be here to share it! I planted 16 tomato plants! Right now I have about 50 ripe tomatos and about 200 that are still green. Lil' Metal planted two pumpkin plants that seem to want to take over the garden! hehehe! He has 4 pumpkins at the moment and one is huge, it must weigh 30 pounds! I also planted about 70 pepper plants, cayenne and serranos. Alot of those will be harvested tomorrow so my man can make a batch of his famous hot sauce. And it's time to start making spaghetti sauce and canning. So many tomatos, so little time! Well, now that I've bored you with all the boring details of the boring days in my boring life, I'm going to haul my bored ass to my wonderful bed. Goodnight everyone! Here is a picture taken at the band's gig Saturday night. Is he HOT or what??? |

i saw the suggestion for fried green tomatoes. never had them, but it was a funny movie, at least the first half. around here, hot pickled green tomatoes are a delicacy. pickled in a brine with shitloads of garlic, among other things. also, try using the peppers with the red tomatoes to make a variety of flavored spaghetti sauces, or even your own barbeque sauce! never been a big fan of tomatoes by themselves, but thin slices of them, along with some of the peppers, on a white pizza would probably rock. make sure you dont skimp on the oregano! oh, and try this with some of the hot peppers; my exs parents would make pepper relish from hot peppers. the brand they used was hungarian yellow hot, so it had a great color as well as being a great blend of flavors, although it uses a lot of sugar, so its suprisingly sweeter than hot. after all of that, and the sorce and his friends, if youre still bored, well, a trip to philly could cure that! bring a jar or two of whatever you make? ill make sure i have a jar of pickled green tomatoes for you to try. (btw, the king tut collection is still in town.) well, it looks like you two will be having a lot of fun in the kitchen as well as the bedroom for a while, so ill let you get to it. let me know if any of my recipe suggestions worked for you. rock on! Thanks for your suggestions! I think alot of the veggie issues are going to be in Sorceror's hands, he has a bit more time, knowledge, talent and patience than I do! He makes a killer hot sauce. And his spagetti sauce is amazing too. I grew up on a farm and my parents made almost everything you mentioned. The thing is that I took it for granted and didn't watch them do it. Now that I want to do it and have no clue, I'm really regretting not paying attention! But you couldn't have told me that then!

hehehe! I'm not sick of eating tomatoes...yet! But I am sick of looking at them and it's only just begun! I'll be making sauce and canning also. I've never canned before so this should be interesting! We are going to try to dry some in the food dehydrator to see if they turn out like sun dried tomatoes. hehe! Good luck with your garden!

Nothing boring about home grown tomatoes...they are one of the mainstays of life! Thinking I need to read back in your blog to catch up on this food plan program you are on....is a low carb deal??? Thanks for the Luxor tip...levitation massage? Ahhhh... have a feeling that that one could unquestionably work for me I'm trying to add a little more of the lower carb veggies and at least one lower carb piece of fruit per day and I'm still managing to stay under 20 carbs. I've lost 5 pounds and it's been 8 days!!! If you do see Criss Angel, please let me know if he's as HOT in person as he is on TV. Did you know that he is my next ex husband? He just doesn't know it yet! Have fun!
