upcoming INDEPENDENCE DAY

first of all, happy happy and please be safe.

next, why does nobody call it "independence day"?

THATS what were celebrating, not just "the 4th of july".

do we celebrate "january 1st" and "december 25th"? NO !

we celebrate new years day and christmas (those of us who do anyway).

lets remember WHY were celebrating when were celebrating.

and bless and thank our veterans

 I do. Independence day, in Canada day it's July First and most of the people I know call it * the first * but I bet they call it the 1st if you really listen Everything today is shortformed ( SMH) it's too sad that people can't take the time to say entire words. I mean,, what do they do with extra time it would take to put an O in front of K ? Thanks for the post and ttfn
