Happy 2014 everyone...

 "Dan" have you some sound advice. Generally, the lady involved is in charge. If you need time to get comfortable, take it. There's no need to rush. Sally should make the first invitation to whatever activity and with whom she wants. The number of participants can increase at her discretion. Have fun and enjoy.
